operation of different types of computer networks that are used to interconnect
a distributed community of computers and various interfacing standards and
protocols.

Comparison Network hardware-Repeaters, Routers, Bridges, Gateways, Hub, Cable
Modem.
Physical Layer: - Transmission Media– ISDN system Architecture –
Communication Satellites – geostationary satellites - Medium Earth Orbit Satellites- Low earth
orbit satellites– Satellite v/s Fiber
